The
Performance
DBU 6.0's
new GUI was developed using JAVA, which means that the
product operates on Microsoft Windows 95/98/NT or any other
operating system with a compliant java virtual machine.
Using a TCP/IP connection, DBU 6.0 information from the
database is presented thru the graphical user interface.
This GUI offers explorer-like features for the iSeries
AS/400 file systems and allows the user to maneuver the
screen with the mouse or keyboard via buttons and tab
panels. DBU 6.0 also features a new Operations Navigator
database node with DBU 'plugged-in' to IBM's graphical
operations interface. This combination can simplify the
process of operations management and the display of library
and file information. DBU 6.0, nothing beats the power of an
