The Famous Radburn Clock
Radburn
Fair
Lawn, NJ.
Radburn is a planned unit
development within Fair Lawn, NJ. Radburn was
established in 1929, replicating communities
built in Europe. There are approximately 670
families living in Radburn. The development
consists of approximately 470 single family
homes, 58 condo/townhomes, 30 multi-family
homes, and a 90+ unit apartment complex. Radburn
was included in the National Register of

One of the major concepts of
Radburn is the pedestrian path structure. The path
system was constructed so that pedestrians and motor
vehicles would never cross each other.
